REV7 Update

Our team has been operating virtually for the 2020-2021 season, but we have not been idle. During this time, we’ve designed REV7 to compete in either June 2021 or June 2022. REV7 features a completely redesigned 2WD powertrain, as well as a higher voltage accumulator.

In addition to working on REV7, we’ve spent the fall developing a partnership with Elefant Racing from Bayreuth, Germany to advance our autonomous systems and preparing for virtual presentation, cost, and design events this upcoming spring.

REV6 Virtual Competition

While due to COVID we weren’t able to finish building REV6, we still competed in three events at Formula SAE Virtual in May and June. We showed off our REV6 design in the Design event, winning the 4th place Siemens Digital Twin Award for our advanced simulation work in our design. We also competed in Sales and Cost, presenting a business plan in response to a hypothetical scenario as well as discussing the cost and manufacturing of REV6.
