Penn Electric Racing is going all in on four-wheel drive, aiming to enter a new realm of performance, innovation, and engineering prowess.
In the next 4 months, PER needs to raise $ 40,000 to fund the costs of this transition.
Achieving 4WD will require more already-expensive drivetrain unit components, inverters, and motors. We’ll have to devote twice as much time to manufacturing and fabrication, and validating our new system will require more track time and repairs. There will be countless days where our engineers will spend their entire day in B11 until the sun sets over Towne and our humble workshop.
We have the talent, energy, and time to make this dream a reality. What we need is money. We are asking for your financial support during this landmark moment for our team. Without your contributions, we simply cannot cross the technological divide between us and our competition.

We will secure the manufacturing path, so 4WD isn’t “we’ll figure it out later,” but we’ll have a reserved capacity and a calendar to build around.

Commitments for fabrication timing.
Vendor coordination, manufacturing plans, and future planning.

Milestone 2 - REV12 Backbone Funded

We'll fund the “must-exist” foundation, which includes parts and manufacturing that every car design depends on. This prevents last-minute scope cuts and lets us design with confidence
